Schmitz Industries started
out as a carpet cleaning and restoration company. After a couple
of years using the available carpet cleaning equipment on the
market, Mark Schmitz (owner and founder of Schmitz Carpet
Care) decided there had to be a better system of carpet cleaning
equipment. There was not.
In 1978 Mr. Schmitz designed and patented his own
hot water extractor. The machine (known as the Schmitz 5000)
was designed with the carpet cleaner in mind. It was the only
commercial carpet cleaning equipment ahead of it's time.
It had large capacity solution and return tanks enabling
the technician to do the average home with just one fill of
the tank.
It had 20" tires on the rear for easy maneuverability
and made stair climbing a much easier task. This carpet cleaning
equipment was built and sold exclusively to Schmitz Carpet Care
franchises.
Times
are changing - With over 30 years in the carpet cleaning
business and with the help of modern plastic technology, Schmitz
Industries has developed a new commercial carpet cleaning equipment
extractor, "Dirt Invader."
This innovative new carpet extractors concept is lightweight,
powerful, even more maneuverable and best of all, these carpet
extractors are being offered to the entire cleaning maintenance
industry.
